Session Date: Thursday, December 4th Time: 5:30 - 8:30 PM Description: Learn to make a beautiful and functional wood cutting board using only hand tools. Make one for yourself, or give one as a gift! You’ll create your own unique & custom shaped board! In this class you will: - Learn to love the quiet, dust free and meditative act of hand tool woodworking - Learn to use various traditional hand tools - Learn creative options for work-holding - Learn to work with wood grain, and about wood’s antibacterial properties - Learn about food safe finishing options for woodenware - And... learn about applying creative custom accents to your work ?
