Laser Cutter: Introduction to Design and Certification

Learn how to use a laser cutter to turn digital designs into precise, real-world creations. A laser is an amazing tool that uses a focused beam of light to engrave and cut through materials such as wood, leather, and acrylic. In this class, you’ll learn how to create your own custom designs using vector software, set up your design files for the laser cutter, and operate the machine safely. You'll get to make multiple projects as we practice our skills together. All the details you need to be certified on the laser at Gizmo will be covered during the class, and there will be an opportunity to certify at the end (Note: certification is not guaranteed and is up to the instructor's evaluation of your capability).
