Global Tapestry Art Exhibit Opening @ the JACC

Global Tapestry @ the JACC! This new art exhibit in Post Falls will celebrate cultural traditions and artistic expressions from around the world. Explore through art Japanese Kintsugi, German castles and famous Germans. Enjoy paintings inspired by Istanbul, Africa, Scotland and Australia, and tapestries from the Middle East. You’re invited to the Opening Reception Friday, September 5, 5:30 - 7:00 pm. There are also several events in conjunction with this exhibit. Tapas and Tangoes follows the art opening at 7:00 pm. Tickets available through the JACC website. On Tuesday, September 9, the Free Community Art Night will offer Mandala weaving 5:00-6:30 pm. Friday, October 3, sign up for an Adult Kimekomi workshop, and learn Japanese fabric art techniques. Kids in the Kitchen: Around the World will offer cooking classes in September and October.
