Girls Who Do Robotics! (Ages 8+)

"Code it, build it, make it move!" In this hands-on class, girls ages 8+ will dive into the world of robots and coding using LEGO Spike Robotics Sets, Artie Max creating Art from Code, Machine Learning and AI, and more, to make interactive robots, games, and devices. Students are encouraged to work together and build relationships as a group, as they learn how to program lights, sounds, and movements using block coding, then experiment with different ways to bring their robot creations and devices to life. With exposure to Machine Learning and AI tools through Hour of Code, students will gain experience and a working understanding of how AI is trained to assist us in a vairety of tasks. Every project is a new adventure in creativity, coding, robotics, and engineering fun! Please wear closed-toe shoes to Gizmo class. Age: 8+
