Backyard Biologists: Spring Break Camp (Ages 5-7)

Campers step into the role of scientist, explorer, and nature detective. This hands-on camp blends outdoor adventure with simple biology and big curiosity — discovering how living things survive, grow, and thrive. Campers will: Explore the outdoors and observe plants, insects, and animal habitats Gently search for and study bugs up close Learn about lakes and watershed science through playful experiments Use microscopes to see the hidden details in leaves, soil, and water Discover how animals and plants have special “superpowers” to survive Create nature-inspired art and simple biomimicry projects Why do some bugs blend in? How does water travel from rain to lake? What can we learn from the way nature solves problems? Through outdoor exploration, hands-on experiments, storytelling, and creative making, campers learn to see the natural world as a living laboratory. Every day is filled with discovery, movement, and moments of awe. Big curiosity. Tiny discoveries. Outdoor adventure. Age: 5-7
